CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
2 Year Old Ballet Creative Movement
Our 2-year-old class is the perfect place to start your tiny dancer. In this class, your dancer will learn to follow directions, use props, follow along, balance skills and so much more! We introduce basic ballet technique while making it an interesting way to learn. This class performs 1 routine in our Winter Showcase and 1 routine in our Spring Recital.
3-6 Year Old Ballet/Tap/Jazz Combo Classes
This class is geared towards the basics of ballet, tap and jazz while teaching discipline and directional skills. Your dancer will learn to stretch, the 5 positions of ballet, center floor and across the floor dance technique. This class performs 1 routine in our Winter Showcase and 1 routine in our Spring Recital.
7-10 Year Old Ballet
Our 7-10 Yr. Ballet class is a solid introductory class into the ballet world! They will learn not only ballet technique, but the terms and definition of each move as well. Your child will learn the gracefulness of ballet while inquiring the skills they need for proper ballet technique. This class performs 1 routine in our Winter Showcase and 1 routine in our Spring Recital.
7-10 Year Old Jazz
This class is all about fun, fast paced jazz moves! We push our jazz classes to new levels! They learn the art of performing while molding themselves into fabulous jazz dancers. If your child loves to move, this is the class for him/her! This class performs 1 routine in our Winter Showcase and 1 routine in our Spring Recital.
7-10 Year Old Hip Hop
Our 7-10 Yr. Hip-hop class is a studio favorite. The dancers learn to count music while interpreting the music into hip-hop moves. This class is a way for children to express themselves in ways you didn`t think possible! We keep it clean, classy, and cute! This class performs 1 routine in our Winter Showcase and 1 routine in our Spring Recital.
7-10 Year Old Pom
This class is high energy! In 7-10 Yr. Pom the dancers work on basic dance skills including leaps & turns while incorporating precise, sharp arm movements. Dancers use bright colored pom poms provided in the class. Pom is a popular one amongst our dancers. This class performs 1 routine in our Winter Showcase and 1 routine in our Spring Recital.
7-10 Year Old Tap
Our 7-10 Yr. Tap is all about introducing rhythm, timing, and coordination through percussive footwork. This classic form of dance is a fun way for kids to stay active and express themselves. It promotes great posture, ankle strength and allows dancers to be a part of the music.
This class performs 1 routine in our Winter Showcase and 1 routine in our Spring Recital.
8-12 Year Old Homeschool Jazz/Pom
This class provides homeschooled students the opportunity to participate in physical activity through dance. From stretching to center and across the floor combinations, your dancer will work on growing their dance technique, whether beginner or advanced. This class performs 1 routine in our Winter Showcase and 1 routine in our Spring Recital.
11-14 Year Old Jazz
This class is based upon intense jazz technique! We move quick and precise in this class! Advanced stretching, center and across the floor combinations make this class well rounded. Join us, as your dancer will develop a passion for performing! This class performs 1 routine in our Winter Showcase and 1 routine in our Spring Recital.
11-14 Year Old Hip Hop
This class is perfect for the dancers who wants to express themselves through dance! Our age & music appropriate hip-hop class teaches your student how to keep rhythm with new and innovative dance moves! This class performs 1 routine in our Winter Showcase and 1 routine in our Spring Recital.
11-14 Year Old Pom/Drill Team Prep
Whether preparing for middle school/high school drill team tryouts, or just developing a passion for dance, this class is for your dancer! Students learn Jazz technique, Pom, and High Kick, all while building confidence and skill level. This class performs 1 routine in our Winter Showcase and 1 routine in our Spring Recital.
3-5 Year Old Tiny Tumblers
Our Tiny Tumbler class is an introduction to tumbling. The kids will learn traditional handstands, box handstands, back bends, toe touches, cartwheels, forward/backward rolls and so much more! We instill flexibility and strength in the kids at a young age. This class is a studio favorite! This class does not perform in our Winter Showcase or Spring Recital.
Level 1 Tumbling/Acro - Ages 5+
With no previous tumbling or acrobatics skills required, in this class your child will learn cartwheels, backward & forward rolls, handstands, bridges, introduction to back/front walk overs and so much more! We incorporate flexibility and strength in this class as well. This class does not perform in our Winter Showcase or Spring Recital.
Level 2 Tumbling/Acro - Ages 5+
With a skill requirement of a mastered cartwheel, this tumbling/acrobatics class has their focus on front and back walkovers, intro to ariels, once handed cartwheels, walking handstands and more! Flexibility, coordination, and strength are instilled in this class. This class does not perform in our Winter Showcase or Spring Recital.
Level 3 Tumbling/Acro - Ages 5+
With skill requirements of a cartwheel and front and back walk overs, this class is our most advanced level of tumbling/acrobatics. We keep our focus on ariels, front/back handsprings, back tucks, etc! This class does not perform in our Winter Showcase or Spring Recital.
Company Teams
These one-day a week teams will push your dancer at a beginner/intermediate competitive level. They will learn advanced dance technique and ballet, while acquiring the importance of hard work and teamwork! This team competes 1 routine at 2 local competitions, performs 1 routine at our Winter Showcase, and 2 routines at our Spring Recital. For more information, visit our "Company Teams" Tab!
